What is missing from your loan file?
Most refused applications are not refused on the business — they are refused on the file. Pick your scheme and tick what you already have; this lists what is still missing and what a lender is likely to question. It will not tell you whether you will be approved, because nobody outside the bank can.

What people ask about loan files
-
QWill this tell me if my loan will be approved?
No — this tool will not predict whether a loan is approved, and treat any that claims to with suspicion. Sanction is the lender's decision on a file and an interview; a website cannot see your account conduct, your bureau record or the lender's appetite that quarter. What this does is make sure the file you hand over is complete.
-
QWhy does a complete file matter so much?
The bank sees a file, not a business. A good business with gaps in its paperwork reads, on paper, exactly like a weak one — and the officer assessing it has no way to tell the difference.
-
QI am missing two or three things. Is it worth applying anyway?
Applying with two or three documents still missing is usually not worth it in the same week. A file that goes in incomplete comes back with queries, and a second submission carries the memory of the first. Closing the gaps first is almost always faster than arguing them afterwards.
-
QCan you help assemble the missing pieces?
Assembling the missing pieces is most of what we do on the lending side — reconstructing accounts, filing the returns that are outstanding, and putting the project report together. Bring what you have.
Bring the file, gaps and all
Reconstructing accounts, filing the returns that are outstanding and writing the project report is most of what we do on the lending side. The gaps are the normal starting point, not a problem.
